Great Weekend!!

On Saturday Chad and I went to the U game with the Leybas. It was so much fun! This is Kalin with the Crazy Lady! This is Chad flaring his nostrils at the camera!

Chads life long dream came true! He has been in love with Jody Saeland for the whole time I have known him. We were hanging out with the Leybas and we looked over and there she was. Eating lunch right next to us! I thought Chad was going to pee his pants, but he did contain himself. He was not going to go and talk to her but after Cruz told him he would go to Chad had enough courage to tell her that he was her biggest fan!! It was so funny! Usually Chad is not embarrased to talk to anyone and he was so afraid of her! He came over and told me he even got to put his arm around her. I wonder if he is going to ever wash that sweat shirt??? We had a great time! Go Utes!!!

On Friday after school Me and Ashly and some of her friends went to see Twilight! It was so good. In the middle of the movie I looked over at Ashly and she was crying. It was not a sad movie at all. I just think she had been waiting so long she was just so overwhelmed!! It was so funny! She loved it too. Notice it the picture she has vampire teeth in her mouth and writing all over her face! She is a nut! I really cant wait till it comes out on video so we can watch it over and over!!

We all needed some work done on our hair so our hair dresser came right over to our house!! This is all of the hair she cut off! This is Hanna telling us there was no way she was getting anything done to her hair!
When I got home from work Ash asked me if it would be ok if she invited her friend over to get some color and a haircut. So sure enough we had some extra kids to get some work done too!!! I think our hair dresser thinks we are kinda crazy to have the neighbors over for work too!! Ash talked us into letting her get bangs. She was very excited for the finished product and went right to bed because she was so excited to go to school tomorrow!

Kayt got an A line cut kinda like mine! She was thrilled to finally get what she wanted!! I just got my grey covered. I was very sad when Holli told me it was time to start using the grey cover instead of just normal color!! I think that means i really am getting very old!!

Sometimes getting your hair done is quite painful. Ash cried a little and screamed a little! Holli told her beauty is painful but I think Ash needs a few more painful hair colors before she really believes!!

Well this has been a very exhausting night for all of us so Goodnight!

School carnival!

Tonight was our Halloween carnival at the school! It was so fun! Kayts mouth is a little blue in this picture from all of the cotton candy! They are enjoying a ride on the train ride! Kayt was a Barbie fairie. She said she should have been the girl on the picture of the package for this costume because she looks way better than her!
Hanna is a white princess bride! She is so happy in this picture!

After alot of fighting and arguing on a costume for Ash she decided on Pebbles. We both left the costume shop happy so it ended up ok!! She spent the entire carnival chasing boys you really would of thought her and her friends were in 2nd grade not 6th!

Daughters

So you know when everyone says "I cant wait for you to have a daughter just like you". I have been really thinking about that today while I have been Halloween costume shopping with one of my kids. I have decided what a horrible thing to say!! I think that is the meanest thing anyone could say to another person! Just think about that!!!! And think about how do these things really come true!!!!

Are you kidding me?? Am I 13 or am I 31? Why am I getting zits? I really do not understand! I looked up why adults get zits. It said the main reason is usually stress. I dont have any stress so I really do not understand! I think I am not watching the political channel on tv anymore and Im not talking to Josh any more. Maybe that will help? But this is sick! I look like I am on drugs or somthing! This might be a good reason to call in sick to work tomorrow. Im sure my boss will understand!Yesterday I came home from dinner at my parents and Chad was at my house when we got here and he brought me flowers! What a nice boyfriend! My first thought was what did you do wrong and I made the mistake of saying it out loud! He got a little angry and told me he was glad that I appreciate him! I really do appreciate him! He is great. He puts up with me and the 3 monsters! He always helps me keep my house clean, he buys me dinner all of the time, and he is my bestfriend! I think I better keep him around!!

Thankful Thursday!!

I have decided since I feel like I have been very negative lately I need to have a Thankful Thursday post so I can remember it is really not that bad! My goal is to come up with a list of about ten!
1. Hanna has been sick with a cold and when she coughs she throws up but I have been lucky she has only thrown up at her Dads house this week!
2. Ashlys 2 best friends got in school suspension last friday for fighting and Ash was not involved!!
3. Only 2 more soccer games for the fall season!!
4. Aaron answered my phone call today!
5. I dont have to work tomorrow!
6. We get to go to the U game on Saturday!
7. I remembered to buy dryer sheets at the grocery store today so when i do laundry tomorrow my cloths will not be staticy!!
8. Kayt only has to do five pages of homework everyday while she is off track!(That was not really a thankful thing!)
9. My mom is bringing me and Lauren a present to Ashlys soccer game on Saturday!!
10. Chad!
Okay my list is kind of crazy but I do know I have the 3 best kids in the world and a great family. So even when I feel like everything is not going my way I always know that part of my life does not change! (Wow very sappy!)

Our Favorite Place!!!

We love going to the Hogle Zoo. This morning we woke up and made french toast for breakfast, cleaned the house and decided to go to the zoo. That is a perfect day for us!! All 3 kids love it. We have a season pass so if we only stay for an hour its ok. Kayts favorite thing to see there is the monkeys. We have always teased her that they are her long lost family! Hanna got to see the Leopard Fox. Even though Ash is getting older she still loves going there. Ash thinks it is great to go into the reptile house and in the middle part she can name all of the birds off the top of her head. She thinks she is pretty cool! Today she new what a rosate spoonbill was??? I guess she is pretty smart! Now if I can get them all to sleep in their own beds it really might be a perfect day but they are all in my bed now so doubt that is going to happen!!!!

I dont want to share anymore!!!

I had the weirdest thing happen to me since I have been a Mother last night. I went to Ashlys soccer game and sat down with the other soccer Moms. Josh and his wife were there (I always sit as far away from them as I can). Then my Hanna and Kayt ran up to these two people who were strangers to me. They gave them hugs and were calling them Grandpma and Grandpa. They had treats and little presents for my kids. I realized they were the step mothers parents. As a Mother you want to know everyone your kids are spending time with and have relationships with. I felt like my kids have a double life or something. I have known for a long time that they spend time with these people but to see it with my own eyes and to hear them call strangers to me Grandma and Grandpa was just to much!!! It is the weirdest thing to think they have another family that I have no idea about. Who are these people??? Are they good people??? Do they teach them good things??? I tried so hard not to watch them interact with MY kids but it was awful to see my naughty little Hanna act happier to see them then she was to see me when I walked up! I am struggling so hard with this! I just wanted to yell at them and tell them what kind of a person their new son-in-law was. And what their daughter did to my family!!! I kept my mouth shut. The other Mothers I was sitting with could tell how crazy this was for me so thank goodness the game was close and we talked about all of the kids and they kept me busy!!! I guess this will get easier but how much more can I take???? I just want my kids to myself!! I HATE SHARING MY KIDS!!!!! Well that is my venting publicly again!!!

Is it Monday???

Every morning I have the kids Hanna wakes up and asks me what day it is. She is hoping that it is not Monday. On Mondays she has to go to Kindercare daycare. She hates it!!! On Mondays when she asks I just kind of ignore her and dont answer when she asks what day it is. Well she is getting very smart. She has figured me out!! Last week we got to the daycare and she was screaming at the top of her lungs that it was Saturday! She just kept yelling at me that it was Saturday she promised. All of the people were staring at us like she was crazy (and she was)!!! This past Monday I resorted to bribery!! Believe it or not it worked. She walked in all by herself with her new shiny black boots on of course! She could not wait to show Miss Patti her new boots. She walked in and sat down like she was dying for someone to ask her about them and then finally the teacher noticed her, more so because she had never seen her come in not screaming before. But anyway it was enough that I could leave without all of the drama!!! I think every Monday I am going to have to have a special bribe. Im sure you are all thinking what a bad idea that is but you have not been through the hair pulling and kicking tantrums we have been through this past few months!! Wish us luck!!! I am dreading when she has to start kindergarten. I have no idea where she got this from because I remember loving school and could not wait to go!! My Mother was so lucky to have child like me!!!

Ashly is 12!!!!

Ashly turned 12 on September 4. We just had her party with her friends on Friday night.

She wanted to go up to the canyons and roast hot dogs and marshmellows so that is what we did! I was really worried because I have never started a fire before but we invited Chad to help. We really were not sure he knew how but then my Mom reminded me that if he was an Eagle Scout he would have to know!! So it all worked out and I think all of the girls had a good time. 7 twelve year olds is just to much for me! I am really glad she did not ask for a slumber party!!!

When it was time to get back in the cars and go home Chad had to choose the 3 girls that were the cleanest to ride with him!! Someday he will realize it is impossible to have a clean car with children!!!

We just want to wish Aunt Suzie (Liesl) a very Happy 40th Birthday!!! We love you! This is the only picture I have of you!!! Hope you are still talking to me by the end of the day!!!

I thought I was through with diapers!!!

I never thought in a million years I would have to put a diaper on a dog!!! SICK!! I never had a dog growing up so I thought my kids would love to have a dog. I very much regret that decision this week!! Im sure I will still love Cleo next week when this is all over but right now I really dont like her!
My kids think we need to let her have babies but as soon as this is over and they are at their Dads the dog is going to the vet so I never have to do this again!!
Chad said he feels like I never blog about him so here is a picture of him! He spent his Sunday morning helping me edge and mow my lawn!! He is so great! Thanks Chad!
By the way I finally figured out how to write inbetween the pictures!!! I am so excited! My Mom asked me to change my back ground so she would feel better about being my Mother but I love guitar hero so I told her I had to have it for a few more weeks!!!

The picture of the hill was a windmill farm on the way to Frezno. It was really cool. It really was the only cool thing on that long drive!!! The wedding was great just very far away. We are all so happy to have Lauren in our family now and so glad the wedding is over!!! I cant believe the summer is almost over and the cold weather is almost here!! I am not ready for that yet! We have not been to the pool enough yet!!! I am going to really try to be better at updating my blog! I promise Andy!!!!

First Day of School!!

We survived the first day of school!!! Ashly started 6th grade and Kayt started 2nd grade! They were so excited they all woke up and 7 am and we made pancakes and ate together ( That is very rare at our house!) I have pictures but I am at work so I will post the pictures as soon as I get home!

The Ranch!!!

Its our annual 4th of July reunion!!! I have to work on the 4th so my parents decided to take my kids with them until I can come up on Friday night!!! I cant believe they took Hanna with them. Hanna was crying when they left. Ashly text me and said she was doing ok! I gave her a box of fruit snacks and told her just to eat them the whole way there!!! I hope she minded me! My Dad looked like he was going to kill one of them so I hope I still have 3 kids when I get to Vernal! I cant wait to get there for the water fight. It will be great!!! Chad is not coming with me. He decided he does not have family obligations yet! Here are some pictures I have from last year. By the way Lauren I know you read my blog and you are missing out!!! I cant wait till the motorcycle race next year!!!!

Poop at the pool!

So today was my day off so I decided we needed to go to the Draper pool and buy our season pass to get the summer started! We had 3 extra kids with us and we were ready for a great day! I took my beach chairs and my Fablehaven book and we were ready for a good few tanning hours by the pool. When we got there they told us of all the new rules about swimming diapers. Which I thought were great. Hanna did not need one because she is three and potty trained. There was only probably ten people there because it is still a little cold but we basically had the pool to ourselves. There was a family of about ten that did not look like normal people that go to the pool. None of the little boys had swimsuits on. They had gym shorts on. There was a boy that was a little bigger than Hanna. We got there at about 5 pm and at 6 they made everyone get out of the pool. At first I thought it was a normal break but then all of the life guards were all looking in the pool right where Hanna and this other little white trash boy were playing. They then pulled out this giant machine and some net things. They started scooping out poop from the pool! SICK!!!! I grabbed Hanna and checked her and made sure she had not done it. Thank goodness she didnt. I now wonder if I should not of bought a season pass. I am not going through this every time we go to the pool. Last year all of those people got sick from kids pooping in the pool. I think all kids under age 5 should have to wear somthing that it can not get out of. I also think if you are not wearing proper swimming wear you should not be let in the pool. Am I over reacting??? I dont think Hanna would have an accident. She is really good. The only time she has an accident is when she does not want to go to daycare and she does it right when we get there so I can see that she did it. I would not be mad if they made the rule of all kids have to wear them because it is SICK!!!! I think if it happens again I am going to get my money back and never go to a public pool again! SICK!!! I am so glad I did not get in the water. I made all of the kids that were with me take a shower when we got home and Hanna had two!!! SICK SICK SICK!!!!

All of my excuses!!

So I have been asked by several people to update my blog. Here are a few excuses why I have not found the time.....

* My internet has been down for a few weeks. Tyson move out so I think when he moved his desk he unplugged my modem for my home phone and the internet. The funny thing is we didnt even notice the home phone was out until the people at comcast asked if the phone was not working either. That was how we figured out it must be the modem was unplugged. (I think it is time to just get rid of the home phone altogether!)

*Every night it has been warm and not raining we have been doing yard work!! Yes believe it or not my lawn is edged and cut. The bushes are starting to be trimmed. Thank you so much Chad for making me do it!! If it was not for Chad I would still just be a lazy reality tv watcher. My yard is not perfect yet but is on its way!!! Maybe at some point I will even plant some flowers. But that would be alot so I better just get used to mowing the lawn!!!

*Ashly has been telling me how great the book Fablehaven is. She has gone to see the author twice and read all three books 2 or 3 times. Last Thursday (Chads TV night) I didnt have anything to do so I started reading the first one. I fell asleep Thursday night reading it and woke up Friday and read till I finished it. I started the 2nd one but I am only allowing myself one chapter a day!

*The other night Chad and I were watching TV and Ashly was in the shower. All of a sudden there was a sound of gushing water. We both sat up at saw there was a flow of water coming out of the light over my kitchen table. I ran upstairs and Ashly had just finished her shower and realized she had flooded the toiled before she got in. There was water everywhere. It was such a mess. So we mopped up all the water and used every towel in my house.

*I dont know if this is really and excuse but it sure made me laugh today so I will share it with all of you.... Ashly has had an ingrown toe nail for a few months. She never complains about it because she is so afraid of going to the doctor. Well on Sunday I was looking at her foot and her toe was so swollen an infected. She then proceeded to tell me it was under control and if she cut it out the redness would be gone in a few days. So she locked herself in the bathroom to cut it out. When she came out it still looked horrible. So I called the doctor and made her an appointment. I made it for Tuesday morning knowing she would be with her Dad so I would not have to take her. I decided not to tell her till we were on our way to her Dads Tuesday morning. Well of course Chad had to blow the surprise and told her Monday night that she was going to the Doctor. She cried for a while to him that she did not need surgery. He kept yelling at her it was not SURGERY that she would walk out of the doctors office and go home the same day. She insisted it was surgery and she refused to have any shots. Finally she got in the shower and decided to go to bed. I just went into her room and she was sitting on her bed looking sad. She had a notebook so I took the notebook and told her to go to bed everything would be fine. I turned the paper over and the DRAMA QUEEN had written a will on it. She listed all of her belongings and who I should give them too. On the top it had a little eulogy about her. She is wacko!!!! I really do not know where she comes from. Im just so glad all I have to do is drop her of at her Dads and go to work tomorrow! He can deal with her screaming and be humiliated!!! I will give him my camera so there will be pictures to come of the DRAMA QUEEN at the doctor!

Well there you have it the last few weeks of excuses why I have not had time to Blog!!! I will try to keep up on this but I am not making any promises!

Disneyland

So we survived our trip to Disneyland!!! It went as well as expected. We took Chad with us and he is still talking to me so that is great!!! We left on Wednesday and spent the night at Aarons and then went to California on Thursday. I think Kaytlyn and Olivia had the best time out of anyone. They love just being together and talking non stop! We didnt loose any of the kids this time. We did have a few close calls with Carter though. Every time we would turn around Carter was missing. Hanna really missed being home. But if you ask her if she had fun she says yes if that means anything! I think Hanna is not going on another trip until she is 15. We had a great Easter. We didnt make it to church but the kids had fun. We went to an Easter egg hunt at my Moms and Dads. The kids got to find about 75 egss each!
