Thanksgiving already???

I cant believe Thanksgiving is already here!! This year has gone by so fast! Well here is a few of the things I am thankful for.....

Chad
My Mom and Dad
My Brothers and Sisters
Getting to have my kids for the entire day on Thanksgiving
Getting to have my kids on Halloween when it wasnt my year!
Dog cloths
In-n-out
People that are nice when I back into their car with my car
That my sister is a hair stylist
Not going shopping early on Friday morning

Thats enough for this year! Before I know it Christmas will be here. Not sure I am ready for that!! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Halloween!!

I dont know why my Dad is hiding behind this little tree?? My Mom and Dad came over for dinner and thanks to Jill N. coaching me over the phone I made her potatoe cheese soup and it was so good! I was very proud of myself!! Even without a whisk it turned out great!!

Chad didnt want his picture taken so Ashly is trying to force him too. It didnt work!


Hanna was a bumble bee! She thinks the best part is her little shoes. They have a little heal on them and she loves them!!



Ashlys picture is a little blury because she is trying to show off her ninja moves!! I hope this is her last year of this! About 9pm she showed up back at my house after going around the neighborhood with about 20 kids! When she left there was only 4 of them! I still dont know where they all came from!

Kayt is the cutest robot ever!! She is so funny! The costume was a great idea before she realized walking was a little painful in it!! She only made it around the block before she had decided she would just rather hand out candy at the house!! It wasnt my year to have the kids for Halloween but when I found out they got to stay home, even though I had Utah tickets, I was excited! I think Halloween is the best holiday!!

Carving pumpkins!

Cleo is going to be a pumpkin for Halloween so I thought I should put her picture up too!!
Of course Ashly and hanna had to fight!! The funny thing is Hanna usually wins!

When we went to pick out pumpkins Kayt said she was going to pick the biggest one because she had heard that they have the less guts inside, but not this time!! I have never seen a pumpkin so full of stuff!! It took both of them to clean it out!

Ash the perfectionist took a very long time to get hers just perfect!! She is too funny!

All of them working so hard!! When we started cleaning out Hanna's she just touched the inside and said "You know Mom that feels kinda gross and sticky how about you just clean it out for me, I dont want to get dirty!!" Where did she come from??

Time to finally update!!!

So this past weekend we went to the ranch and I took alot of pictures so I could update my blog and my memory card was bad and none of them will download!! I am so mad! So no pictures! We had a great time. I do have to say spending time with the FAM is really alot of fun! Who knew when we were all grown up we would still like each other??? And the new additions to our family are pretty great too! Even with all of the rain and all of the snoring I left thinking I could do it again next year! I was a little sad that there was alot of excitement after I left on Saturday night with raccoons, chocolate, garments, womens robes, and my Dad missing targets (my Dad never misses!). So I am glad we all made alot of great memories (that was for you mom!) and had a really fun time. The best part is we are all going back for the 4th! I will buy a new memory card for the 4th so you can see pictures!

Happy Mothers Day Mom!

Well it is only appropriate to post about my Mom today! So here is a list of the reasons I love my Mom!

-She knows she cannot breathe under water!
-She makes a relish tray like nobody else!
-She makes us a very delicious dinner every Sunday!
-She loves me no matter what I do or what mistakes I make.
-She cannot say Lowes to save her life!
-She has patience like nobody else. I wish I had a 1/4 of her patience.
-She has found a new love for reading. (Now she understands the other part of G better!)
-She has enough food storage to feed all of WVC!
-She is so great with my kids! When they are driving me crazy she always has a game or something for them to do to calm them down!
-She makes us take funeral pictures every Christmas!

Those are just a few of my favorite things about her. I know I take her for granted alot but I hope that she knows I am so thankful for her and would be a crazy person without her! I tried to make her dinner tonight but of course she could not just sit and relax knowing there were people to feed and food to cook! I have no idea how you do it every day! We love you Mom!

My new mailbox!

This is the letter I got in my mailbox! MEAN! This picture was suppose to be after the next one but this is what is under a mailbox! Who knew??
This is what my mailbox looked like! I know it is bad. The neighborhood kids kicked in the side that was not being used! I knew it needed to be replaced but I had no idea how you switch out a mailbox! Nor did I know that it was even my responsibility! I have bought 3 houses and when I bought them the mailbox just came with it! I guess I never put very much thought in to it! But I think the letter I received was mean! Just knock on my door and tell me I am white trash and need to do some yard work and fix the stupid mailbox!

So I sent my muscles out to fix the problem! I thought this thing would be extremely hard to remove because it was huge! Kayt gave it one big kick and she took care of it!

Thanks to my 2 little brothers who helped with the assembly this is the new mailbox!

Just for the record this is the second letter I have received about something stupid! The first one was a copy of the Draper ordinances about garbage cans! Apparently you may not store your garbage cans where they are visible from the street! I think all of this just proves you can take the girl out of West Valley but you cannot take the West Valley out of the girl!! I'm just not made to live in a snobby city!! (Don't get offended Mom!)

Early Easter and cute new hair cuts!!

Mckinley prank called me while I was blogging so here is a picture of her!!! She is kind of a naughty little girl!! But I still do love her!We had an early Easter egg hunt today and my Mom and Dads because the girls will not be there next Sunday! They had a great time!

Why Hanna does not need to go to school!

Last night while I was trying to get hanna to go to sleep we were watching Jay Leno and this is how our conversation went.
Jay: Up next the President of the United States.
Hanna: Barack Obama
Mom: How did you know that?
Hanna: I told you that I was smart and did not need to go to school anymore!

Where does she come from???

Congratulations Nicole!!! She is employee of the month for March at RC Willey! She gets to go to lunch with our store mananger and have a special parking spot! She is the best employee I have hired yet! We love Nicole at the Willey! She comes to work happy and she is so nice to our customers! Good job Nicole!!!!!

Monday!

So tomorrow is Monday and guess what??? No anxiety, no panic attacks, no crying!! Hanna has won the battle! She is officially a 4 year old drop out! Thanks to my great friend Sharon for rescuing her from the Monday madness! If she cries tomorrow when I drop her off at Sharons I am going to be so mad at her so wish us luck!!

I Still HATE Mondays!

Is it normal for the Mom to have a panic attack when they drop their child off at daycare?? Hanna had her normal break down and threw a fit but I had a very hard time taking her in today! We sat in the car before we went in and listened to her favorite song on the radio and we both sat there and cried!! This is stupid I have to help her be a normal kid! Oh well. The daycare is closed next monday and I was thrilled when I found out!!!

I hate Mondays!

Today I had to take Hanna back to school. I have not made her for for one month because my other kids were off track. We all got up this morning and got ready, she didnt ask where anyone was going so we did not tell her. Ashly snuck her back pack to the car. Then she said am I going to Sharons? I said no not today and then all HELL broke loose. She started kicking in her seat and screaming. Yelling that I had lied to her. I never lied to her I just did not tell her anything! We got to the school and she freaked out. The director was at her desk and just shook her head and opened the door for us. When we got the the class room she was holding on so tight and screaming. I could tell by the look on the teachers face Hanna had not been missed!!! The teacher took her and tried to go back to reading the story to the other well behaved kids. I waited in the lobby for about 10 minutes and went back and peeked into the class room. She was still crying but sitting on the teachers lap listening to the story. I called the director when I got to work and she said she was sitting having her morning snack and had stopped crying! What the heck is wrong with her?????

We have heat!!!

Our furnace went out on Friday night. I didnt want to have to pay the weekend price to have a servicer come out, so we just dressed warm used our fire place and turned the oven on alot!! My mother is the best Mom ever. She helped me find someone to come out today and they did not charge a fortune and they did not even ask me if I was married!! It was great!! I really owe my Mother and my big sister this week. Whenever I am near a nervous break down they are always there to listen to my whine!!! Thanks Mom and Big Sister!!!

What is going on??

Just this week 2 people I know quite well have decided to get divorced. I have spent alot of time with one of the families kids this week and I am shocked how resiliant kids are? They talk about it like it is just something normal! I remember when I was going through this and how my kids never talked about it in front of me because they were afraid of making me cry!! We joked about what would happen if my parents got divored and who would get custody of Holli? But thank heavens there are happy people and will stay together forever! I think Holli is safe and G & G will stay together forever with her living with them too! It seems like right now divorce is the cool thing to do??? I am so confused! I would never wish this on my worst enemy! I talked to my friend who has just decided to get divorced and she really has the idea that things will be so much better as soon as she is out! Those were her words! What a weird mentality! When I talked to her tonight she was not sad at all. Well enough sad and sappy stuff!! Update on Hanna going back to school-- She is re-enrolled and has to go back next Monday! She does not know this yet so if you see her please do not tell her!

Hanna makes it to age 4!!!!

It is Hannas 4th birthday today!! We had her party on Saturday because she is with her Dad today. We had a great party for her. She wanted a big party with lots of her friends, but she does not like anybody to have friends. So i did a little recruting with Kayt and Ashlys friends and we had quite a turn out!! Thank you everybody who came, she really loved it! And thanks to Holli for finding the pink cow!!!

Hanna wins!

So as many of you know I have been having a constant battle with Hanna about going to school. She only goes one day a week and she is a nervous wreck on Sunday because she knows what the next day is. I tried telling her I would go with her and I would help her make some friends and maybe we could have them come over and play at our house. She told me she does not need any friends and she would not let them play with her toys either! She is just mean!!! Well this morning I got up and got ready for work. She woke up and noticed that I was obviously going to work. She looked at me with the saddest face I have ever seen and said "Mom please dont tell me it is Monday?" She looked so sad and so scared. I couldnt take her to school. Both of my other kids love other kids and loved preschool. What in the heck is wrong with her?? She is so cute and she is lucky she is!!!!
